Hagbourne Dog Field, located in West Hagbourne on the outskirts of Didcot, is a 1.5 acre, fully enclosed field for your dog to enjoy 7 days a week.
Hagbourne Dog Field was started in 2022 so that dogs of all sizes could safely and exclusively enjoy off the lead training, exercise, and fun. It is surrounded by countryside and the lovely views are a bonus!
The dog field is set within a working family farm, so if you are lucky your backdrop might be a tractor working in the neighbouring field, a Red Kite flying above or horses grazing in the paddock next door.
We want all dogs to enjoy safe access to the field, so our fences are 6-foot high which suits larger breeds and high jumpers. The mesh is small so no dog can squeeze through, and the is fence dug into the ground to keep potential escapees contained! There is a double gate entry system to ensure your dogs get out of and into your car safely, without the option of wandering off.
The field has a mixture of long and short grass with some trees spotted around. The long grass has been left uncut to provide plenty or interesting sniffing places for your dogs.
We know that the weather can be unpredictable, so we have a shelter in the field for you and your dogs to use as shade from the heat or protection from the elements.
Hagbourne Dog Field is centrally located between Didcot, Wantage, Wallingford & Chilton, providing dog owners in the area with a safe, fully enclosed exercise area that they and their dogs can enjoy.
